HOUSTON – Oct. 5, 2018 – Spring ISD College Night 2018 will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11 at Carl Wunsche Sr. High School, 900 Wunsche Loop, Spring. The event will host over 100 representatives from colleges and universities nationwide as well as military branches.
“This is an ideal opportunity especially for middle school and high school students, along with their parents, to gain first-hand information about colleges and universities, although it is open to students of all ages,” said Carlos Gonzalez, Coordinator of College Readiness.
Representatives of the institutions will be prepared to answer questions about programs of study, degree plans, admission requirements, campus life and financial aid options.
Gonzalez said junior and senior students and their parents are especially encouraged to come and explore career interests and discover career pathways together. Additionally, College Night is a way to introduce younger students to career possibilities and start them thinking about what they might like to do in the future.
For more information on Spring ISD College Night 2018, students can contact their school’s college counselor.
